ADPA Ltd
The Federal Council of the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association assigned, in 2007, the formation of a working group to look at and propose a new structure for the ADPA into the future.
The proposed structure of the new organisation - ADPA Ltd. is that it would be a limited liability company controlled by ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Corporation). Two delegates from each corporate member will still form the body that decides the future actions of ADPA Ltd. State Associations would be legally bound by decisions of the company, ADPA Ltd., as well as being accountable to the laws of the state in which they are incorporated.
The proposed Constitution (version 12) is downloadable below for your detailed appraisal.
If you have any questions or queries regarding this matter please contact any member of the Management Committee and we will endeavour to answer your questions directly or seek such an answer on your behalf.

The Registration Board
The Registration Board has recently released it's draft Strategic Plan 2007 - 2011.
The Board is happy for both stakeholders, such as the ADPAQ, and individuals to comment on the direction the Board is planning to take over the next 4 years.
Please see a copy of the Strategic Plan 2007 - 2001 below.
The Public Sector
Queensland Health is undertaking a review of the Public Oral Health Services in response to the reccommendations of the Queensland Health Systems Review (Forster Report).
The primary purpose of the review is to examine the provision of public oral health services in Queensland and make reccommendations to support the provision of appropriate, safe and sustainable oral health services.
Some of the resource documents for the Review are available below, with the final submission from stakeholders due on Friday 10th August 2007.
UPDATE
Through a variety of meetings with the Oral Health Unit and also the Director, Corporate and Statewide Services, Queensland Health it is the ADPAQ's belief that the findings of this review will be available in the second half of the year.
This release of review findings is of course reliant on the fact that the changing circumstances of funding for the Dental Profession with the change in Federal Government must be taken into account when reviewing Oral Health services across the state.
